You can consult a doctor by video using a computer or smartphone.
Step 1: Log in to your account, click on New Question and check the option I prefer to consult by video. Then click on Send.
Step 2: The doctor will call you first to make sure you are available. If you are available and in a quiet place, the doctor will send you an invitation link by email. You need to make sure your pop-ups are not blocked and that you accept the use of your camera and speakers. The video consultation is held between you and the doctor. It is a private exchange, and no data is recorded.
Step 3: Upon clicking the link, if you are already logged in to you account, you will be immediately directed into the online consultation room. If you are not already connected, when you click the link, it will open the login page. You will be directed into the online consultation room once you log in.
Step 4: If the image is not visible, click on the camera icon. If you are using a personal computer, you should not have to change any firewall settings. However, if you encounter an alert, you need to click on the Allow button. If you are using a work computer, you may need to open a port. Approach your IT team and see if they can make the necessary adjustments.
Step 5: To exit the consultation, simple close the browser.
WARNING: You need to verify your identity before being able to request a consultation by video. If you can't select a consultation by video, verify first your identity (see: Why must I verify my identity ?)
